*** 4 HOURS FREE PARKING IN LOT UNDER 580 FREEWAY ***

The City of Oakland has finally provided free parking spaces in the lot under the 580 freeway. The meters at these spaces are currently bagged. Parking spaces in the center of the lot are reserved for permit parking during the day Monday - Friday. We are hopeful that the City of Oakland will provide the appropriate signage soon.

Also during the day, free spaces can be had in the neighborhood surrounding the theater. In the evening, most of the street spaces are free after coin metering ends at 6 pm.

Meters are in operation generally from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday - Saturday (check each meter for specifics).

There are metered parking lots and street parking all around the theater. Time limits and location of some metered spaces are:

Four hours free under the 580 Freeway

2 hr meters along Grand Avenue.

5 hr meters on Lakepark across from the theater
